I'm getting all my Christmas cheer done early, as I may not have much time later on to wish everyone a great time.

I want to wish all of my friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. You've all made LJ a wonderful place to be and filled with your creativity, insights and humour.

I especially want to send good Christmas mojo out to [livejournal.com profile] kaneko, [livejournal.com profile] baggers, [livejournal.com profile] erilyn, [livejournal.com profile] iibnf, [livejournal.com profile] luthien67, [livejournal.com profile] lilacdeity, [livejournal.com profile] alasen, [livejournal.com profile] askance, [livejournal.com profile] jmtorres, [livejournal.com profile] charliequinn, [livejournal.com profile] ammonium, [livejournal.com profile] elke_tanzer, [livejournal.com profile] icefalcon, [livejournal.com profile] mecurtin, [livejournal.com profile] raincitygirl, [livejournal.com profile] skaterboyslash, [livejournal.com profile] tangleofthorns, [livejournal.com profile] therealjae and [livejournal.com profile] jessindistress (as I ran out of time to make you guys anything).

*hugs*

ETA: To all my other friends, not mentioned above, I just realised that nowhere did the email mention my LJ name. Hence, if you get a message from annieleegrayston_at_hotmail.com, with the subject "Merry Christmas!", or something along those lines, it's just from me.

Knew I couldn't have done it without stuffing up somewhere...

Finished the WW Secret Santa. Now going offline. Mum's awake, so we're going to go watch Video Hits and chat. *g*
out_there: B-Day Present '05 (Talkative Faith)
There is something about lack of sleep that makes days so long. Seriously, this has been my past two days:

Wake up at 7am, get ready for work, go to work. Stayed back for drinks (one red wine, one bacardi & coke - meh, and a small amount of whisky reminding me to never try drinking it neat again) then left about 6.30pm to go fridge shopping. (Our old fridge *broke down* a week before Christmas. Highly dodgy.)

Found a good fridge, went to buy it, and found I'd exceeded my daily EFTPOS limit, and would have to come in this morning. Got home, ate, watched Parenthood (Which is one of the most amusing and emotionally satisfying films ever. Love it every time I see it. Plus, Keanu Reeves. *g*), then got online around 11pm.

Typed up little ficlets, finished Chrissy icons, sent them out. Finished my WW Secret Santa pressie (three wallpapers... I'm currently using one of them!) and emailed it to [livejournal.com profile] girlfromsouth to post. This managed to take me up until about 6am.

Then, Mum woke up, and found me awake. Hence, the day started. Just talked and watched video hits. Then, at 11am, finally got my butt into gear and went into the city to pay off the fridge. Also bought vacuum cleaner bags (Woo! My life is seriously *exciting*, I tell you.) and a new Virus Scanner, which has been desperately needed for over six months.

Now, apart from half an hour's sleep on the train into the city, and another half hour's sleep on the way back out, I haven't slept. I've basically been awake since 7am yesterday, and it's now 3pm. The weird thing is that I've got that sleepy/wired feeling going, so I'm talkative and twitchy, but don't actually want to sleep now. (A few more hours and I'll just have an early night.)

Yeah, this may be a spamtastic afternoon. *g*

Spent the last hour clearing out my inbox. Well, it's not totally cleared, but at least it's going to stop threatening to spill over any second now.

*bops away to Justin's Right To Me*

Okay, I'm going to figure out how to install the virus scanner. Pray for me. *g*

So, the virus scanner is finally installed and running. (No, it didn't take me all this time to get it up and moving. I lay down to watch The One with my brother, and saw the first 90 seconds before crashing for four hours... *g*)

I had no viruses, but about 25 spyware/adware programs. It's cleared most of them, but four of them are in the C/_RESTORE folder and are write protected. I can't clear them, or even see the files... *sigh* Any ideas?

I got halfway through reading a JC/Lance fic on Friday, but in the thrill of work supplied drinks, didn't note the title, author or URL.

JC and Lance first kissed in the rain, and then Lance got a flu, and then there was a lot of focus on weight loss, dieting and working out in the gym. (Okay, and that's officially the worst story summary ever.) Does it ring a bell...?
