Oh, a bit of fannish music this evening. Getting home, I heard a song that I'd love to see vidded to Angel, and the most Brian Kinney song of all time, Heat Seeking Pleasure Machine by Paul Mac.

Seriously, it's got that strong bass to make you want to dance and feels sexy and a little dangerous at the same time. The lyrics are sung by Tex Perkins (and I quote from Paul Mac: For that track I needed someone sort of dark and male and sleazy - I mean that in a nice way! - and Tex was the one that sprang to mind.) and fits Brian perfectly. Then, I do a quick search online, and find that it plays in the second season of QaFUS, although it's not on the soundtrack. (It should be.)

The Angel song is Mr Charisma by Frenzal Rhomb. It amuses me because the lyrics really make me think of Angel/Angelus, but the music style is anything but. It's a fast paced Indie/Alternative rock music, with strong drums and irrevelent guitar. Lots of fun to sing along to... ( More lyrics )

Yeah, I'm avoiding my bed. Hey, it's a Friday night and I only have to do a little banking in the morning, so I can basically sleep in.

Okay, the Solitaire game on MSN messenger? That's downright addictive. I've spent the last hour playing it with Oro.

It's now 4am. I need to do banking in the morning (sometime between 9-12am), then meet slashers in town at 2pm, go watch PoTC, and then meet my brother in town for dinner at 6.30pm. (My brother's in Melbourne for a school excursion, but Saturdy night is the only night they have free. Smart teachers.)

Staying up this late was possibly not the best idea I've ever had. *g*

All the same, I want to drag out a WW fic and work on it. Or eat chocolate. One of the two.

When you start to hear the morning calls of birds outside your window? You know it's really time to get yourself in bed, stat.

Since even Mother Nature is metaphorically kicking my butt back to bed, I'm taking the hint and going. *g*

On the other hand, it made me realise how little I know about my friends histories. Generally, I don't know about a friend's old fandoms unless I was there with them, and since there's so many fen in my two main fandoms at the moment (SV and WW) it's fairly impossible to generalise which fandoms they came from. Still...

I'm still about ten sections behind on sinbrat's co-written, popslash gothic-romance-AU. It's wonderfully fun.

Okay, I've got to go in five minutes. It might be a good thing to get dressed before I do. *g* Going naked may be relaxing, but I don't think it'll be comfortable with the cold wind outside!
