Am at work. Am tired, which is ridiculous. I fell asleep at 9pm last night, and woke up at 7am. Slept right through, and even ended up falling back asleep until 7.45am (and then dashing out the door for the late train).

The really bad thing about being so tired I just fell asleep? I forgot to tape Angel! *sobs*

*sighs* Anyone got it on tape?

ETA: Also, was so tired yesterday, I jerked awake from a deep sleep when the train stopped in the city. Pulled something in my neck, so I'm now oddly tense, trying not to use that muscle. I'm not in pain, just hunched towards the computer at an odd angle.

ETA2: Am proud of self. Nearly bought a double chocolate muffin for breakfast, but I was strong, and got the berry one instead. Go, me.

Well, talking about Passion of Christ, I mentioned that if I wanted to watch a religious film this Easter, I'd probably try to track down Jesus, which starred Jeremy Sisto (Billy from SFU).

Mind you, I had to look up SFU on www.imdb.com to find his name and the name of the film. Of course, this also provided a link to Peter Krause's page... *g*

That was how I found out that he'd appeared briefly in Spin City as Casey McCall. The episode was Internal Affairs, aired February 9, 1999:

Peter Krause briefly crosses over as his character from SportsNight as the ending of this episode blends right into the beginning of Sports Night which at this time followed Spin City.

The scary thing is the amount of internet research time I put into to finding out this scrap of cool information. I even found a TV Crossover Guide. (An episode of Spin City ends with the TV showing Casey McCall on Sports Night.)

Man, there's a lot of TV crossovers. At the moment, I'm kinda thrilled/worried about:
Spin City's Michael Flaherty left New York (and the show) to go work in Washington and fight against Family Ties' Alex P. Keaton (note: both characters were played by Michael J Fox. This crossover was not shown on the air, but mentioned in a voice-over by Flaherty when he left).

Alex Keaton went to Washington? My first TV crush went to Washington? Dude, he'd be such a serious, snarky little Republican. *heads gets overwhelmed by thoughts*

Okay, someone hold me down. Stop me from writing Sam Seaborn/Alex Keaton. Stop me now.

ETA: As a environmental lobbyist in DC, Mike says that he met a conservative congressman named Alex P. Keaton. This was of course Michael J. Fox's character in Family Ties!

Dude, he's a congressman. I mean... *stops self from writing*

Just had an official staff meeting about the abuse of the internet.

Oops.

I mean, I personally wasn't brought to task, but copies of the meeting sign-in sheet and the email sent to everyone regarding this, are being put on everyone's employee file. In other words, it's an official staff complaint, that may be used later as proof of inefficiency, and a reason for firing said staff member.

Considering I already have one warning on file (from the last week of February 2003, interestingly enough), I'd better pay attention. Three complaints on file could be a very bad thing. Hence, I'm going to be a more productive girl. No more constantly updating LJ, no more compulsively checking my email.

And, in other fun news, just got a call from a client. He's coming in at 2.30pm to sign documents, which means that I've got time to eat, and then I need to pull my hair out to get this done. I love it when my lunch hour is 30 minutes. *rolls eyes*

(Of course, considering the fact that I came in at 9am, checked LJ, and didn't do any work until 11am, I really can't complain. *g*)

On Thursdays, I should have a tutorial from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, and a lecture from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. This is managable.

Since it's the first week, there's no tutorial.

So, I check the electronic noteboard to print out today's lecture notes, and there's a message added today saying:
"Part-time students - Please note that the first lecture in Financial Planning will start at 6.30PM in Rm 108.6.31."

I found this message at 6.20pm and had to dash out of work, into a 31C (hot) day. Also, I didn't have time to sit down and eat, so I had to quickly grab a yogurt from 7-11. Then, I get into uni at 6.55pm, and find out that Rm108.06.31? Is empty. Deserted. There is no-one there, and the note on the door refers to a different class. That's ridiculous.

I'm tired, I'm cranky, it's the first day of my period, it's hot outside, and I had to dash for an early class (that shouldn't have been resceduled on the day it's being taught) that isn't even there. *grrrrr*

Angel on Annie's other shoulder: Class has already started. Go to it.
Devil on Annie's shoulder: You could just skip class. Get an early night's sleep.
Angel: Go to class.
Devil: Spiderbait are playing at the O-Night celebration. $15. Spiderbait. Would be a lot of fun.
Angel: Class.
Devil: Spiderbait.
Angel: Class. *clamps a hand over the devil's mouth*
Devil: Mmmphmm.
Angel: Let's go to class. *devil bites his hand* Ow!
Devil: We'll just finish reading this fic first.
Angel: ...okay.

ETA: Before you ask, yes, my internal angel and Devil do bear a striking resemblance to Aziraphale and Crowley.
